Push from any tool with a webhook

Any tool that can send a web request when something happens can push content into a brain. You create a source on the brain, Cortex gives you a secure address and a secret, and the tool sends new items to that address. This is how you would wire up, say, a form tool or an automation platform to feed a brain. You create the source on the brain’s Settings page, under Ingest sources, and Cortex shows the secret once with the address and headers the tool needs. The rest is a more technical setup than the rest of Cortex, so it lives in the reference section. See receiving webhooks for the details.

Push from your own scripts

If you write your own automations, you can post directly to the Cortex API using a service credential. This is the same route the agent-conversation capture uses.

On the roadmap

More ready-made connectors are planned, so that popular tools work with a click rather than a webhook. For now, if a tool is not covered by a built-in source, the webhook route connects it today.
